"Aria Gotokuji has officially lost it." stated Tai. "Really?" pressed Kari. "Just because she likes those books?" "Well, you know Tai," commented Sora. "Always trying to get out of homework." "There, done." said Aria. "Finally," sighed Tai. "I thought your brain was going to explode." Aria propped her elbows up on the table, rested her chin in her hands, and began to stare at Tai. He shifted uncomfortably. "What are you doing?" he asked. "Imagining what you would look like without your hair, so that the next time I come over, I'll know what to do with my scissors." smiled Aria. "Uh-oh." whispered Matt. Aria stood up and reached over the table to pull at Tai's hair, only to be restrained by Matt and T.K. "Lemme at him, lemme at him!" Aria struggled. Meanwhile, Tai was backing away while putting a protective arm over his head. "Not my hair," whimpered Tai, fearfully. "Not my precious hair!" "Are you kidding me, Tai?" exclaimed Mimi. "I would trade your hair for Aria having hers back!" Aria had recently gotten a haircut. Her hair that used to be waist-length was now an inch below chin-length. She said it got in the way when she did track. Aria was still being restrained by Matt and T.K.... and Joe, and Izzy, and Cody, and Davis, and Ken. Aria eventually broke free but Tai was out the door. "Tai, no one can save you now!" Matt called. "Aria holds the record for the fastest time on her track team!" "Help!" screamed Tai. "Help! She's killing me!" "Let him die, he made me clean up his room for only a buck fifty." said Kari. "It was not worth it a bit." "Kari, will you go out with me?" asked Davis out of the blue. Kari shifted uncomfortably. She and T.K. had been secretly going out. "No." replied Kari, bluntly. "Kari?" asked Mimi, taken aback. "After turning 14, all these requests for dates become annoying, and he won't take no for an answer no matter what." sighed Kari, exasperated. "Saying no politely gives him the wrong idea." It was at that moment when Aria decided to skip in cheerfully. "Hey guys!" she greeted. "Do wanna come with me to visit Tai at the hospital?" The Digidestined chuckled nervously. "I'm not kidding," Aria stared at them seriously. "Listen."Sirens and ambulances sounded. Kari stared at Aria incredulously. "Did you murder my brother? asked the Digidestined of light. "Maybe," Aria laughed evilly. "See ya guys after school at the hospital!" The Digidestined shuddered. "She scares me sometimes," said Ken, shuddering.
