Matt didn’t heed TK’s warning and got to know Mimi a little better. They fell for each other harder than before. To Sora and Tai, it was absolutely perfect and adorable. For TK, warning bells were going off in his head. He introduced his brother to Aria, another child prodigy—err, teen prodigy. She was just a year younger than Matt and had an interest in music as well. She helped him develop his music skills, as she wished to be a musician as well, and fell for him. But Matt still liked Mimi. He asked her out and she said no. She. said. no.
NO?! Really, Mimi was under the influence of Drew and Amy. But she kept living under that belief. She and Matt never ended up together.
Five years from now, she sits at home feeding the baby, she's all alone.
She turns on TV and guess who she sees?

Mimi rests and turns on the TV. MTV, there he was, Matt Ishida, performing side-by-side with Aria Gotokuji. Mimi calls up Drew, but she’s already got tickets to see the show. She tagged along and stared at him… He looked so comfortable with Aria. Mimi looked to the side and saw Matt’s prodigy brother glaring at her.
You don’t deserve him, mouthed TK. He turned around as if Mimi wasn’t worth his time. Mimi hoped Matt didn’t see her glowing red face.

Speaking of him, he was just over there, leaning against a tree while reading Gone with the Wind as well. Kari was about to call him over when she was cut off by another girl calling for him. Closing his book, TK looked up and saw a girl Kari had never seen before. She had cinnamon locks with a bit of golden blond mixed in perfectly perfect loose curls. Her periwinkle eyes sparkled with happiness and...was that love in her eyes as she looked at T.K.? Kari looked to the blond and saw his eyes sparkling with the same emotions. The two met in the middle with a passionate kiss. "I missed you so much, Lou Ellen," exclaimed T.K. "Lou Ellen" giggled as they began to talk and walk away. Kari's eyes watered as she ran all the way home. Mot even bothering to acknowledge his brother making out with Sora with another witty remark like she always did, she slammed the door, immediately bursting into loud body-wracking sobs. Someone knocked on the door. "Kari?" said the redhead. "Is everything OK?" She was greeted with sobs. "What's wrong?" asked Tai, being the protective older brother he was. Wiping her eyes and opening the door, Kari began to explain everything.
